Renting at Allen’s Camera
You can call, stop in, or browse the Allen’s Camera rental website to check availability and reserve equipment for rent. Allen’s Camera only rents to customers 18 years and older. The following are required upon pickup of your equipment:
- A valid, government-issued ID or Driver’s License
- A valid, major credit card
The name on your ID or Driver’s License must match the name present on your credit card. Before receiving your equipment, Allen’s Camera will make a copy of both.
Your rental contract will show you the equipment reserved with the included accessories. Every rental will be sent out in some sort of dedicated camera bag(s). You must sign our rental contract to confirm that the equipment you are picking up matches what is on the contract, as well as confirming your listed return date and time. The rental terms can be found here.
Allen’s Camera will perform an authorization hold on the provided credit card for 50% of the retail amount of the equipment being rented, although that percentage is at the discretion of Allen’s Camera and is subject to change. Once the equipment is returned, the hold is released and typically returns back to your available credit within three to five business days. However, it can take up to (30) thirty days for authorization holds to be removed. You can also provide a cash deposit in the same amount in lieu of an authorization hold.
Once we have collected your hold, you’re charged your rental fee and you’ll be on your way with your rental equipment!
